Jeff DeDekker is known across Saskatchewan as a creative, talented story teller. After spending over 35 years in the newspaper business covering sports and entertainment, Jeff has ventured into the real world and is now sharing his creative talents with Fraser Strategy clients.
Affectionately known by his social media handle “the ploughboy”, Jeff has interviewed numerous A-List music stars for the Regina Leader-Post entertainment section. Born and raised in Prescott, Ont., Jeff is a very knowledgeable sports fan who once worked as the director of communications for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Currently Jeff is a high-ranking SHA referee and evaluator and a member of the Regina Red Sox Board of Directors.
A dedicated professional with an awesome sense of humour, Jeff now uses his writing skills to provide clear, concise quality writing in reports, website content and strategic business plans.

WHY YOU’RE ON THE TEAM: I got the team in a moment of weakness
PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS: As my many, many friends and acquaintances will attest, I’m much too humble to brag.
PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Recently retired from a journalism career that spanned the Conrad Black, Izzy Asper and Paul Godfrey eras.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT: My wife and I have been foster parents for the past 25 years. I have coached in a number of minor sports organizations over the past 20 years and for the past five years have served an officials coach for the Saskatchewan Hockey Association Referee’s Division.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND: I can confirm that I did go to school at one time or another.
